The Friends is a local organization, founded in 1980 and dedicated to the support
and enhancement of the Champaign County Public Library system.
They donate funds for the purchase of supplies and programs that the library
cannot provide from its own budget. As you know, the Friends' funds come from membership dues,
gifts, and special activities like book sales.
