The Imagine Lab at the Champaign County Library fosters lifelong learning and creativity, and as an extension of the Lab, we offer Maker Kits. These Kits are unconventional items available for borrowing. They are practical, hands-on tools designed to help users acquire new skills, delve into various interests, or assist with everyday activities. Kits include ukuleles, Cricut products, coding robots, digital conversion tools, board games, skill building toys, even a wooden shoe to practice tying your shoe! You can search the library’s online card catalog using the phrase “Maker Kit” or browse a list of the available Maker Kits at the following site. To check out a Maker Kit, you need a valid Champaign County Library card. If you do not have a card, you can sign up online or visit the library. The loan period is two weeks and kits may be renewed for two additional weeks if no one else is waiting on them. Kits are located near the front of the library outside the Imagine Lab. Stop by and check them out! champaigncountylibrary.org/content/maker-kits-our-library-things October 2024 Champaign County Library 1060 Scioto Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078 937-653-3811 HOURS: Monday - Thursday 9-8 Friday - Saturday 9-5 North Lewisburg Branch Library 161 Winder Street, North Lewisburg, OH 43060 937-747-3043 HOURS: Monday-Wednesday 4-8 Thursday & Saturday 10-2 Ty Henderson, Director Kay Schenkel, Fiscal Officer The Library will be CLOSED on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 for Staff Training. champaigncountylibrary.org FALL BOOK SALE Thursday, October 3 12:00-7:00 Friday, October 4 9:00-4:00 Saturday, October 5 9:00-3:00 Special Presale for Friends’ Members & Volunteers Thursday, October 3rd from 9:00-11:00 am at the Main Library Maker Kits Check out our
